Live demonstration of the W+D BB700 S2 with Read&Print application
Neuwied, Germany, February 11, 2019 – At Hunkeler Innovationdays from February 25 – 28, 2019, in Lucerne (Hall 1, Booth B14), W+D will be presenting innovative technologies for the direct mailing market. As a special highlight, visitors to the leading industry meeting can experience the high-performance W+D BB700 S2 envelope inserting system live with its unique Read&Print application.
On site, the W+D BB700 S2 will run at top speed and at the same time demonstrate inline the address imprint on the back of the envelope that has recently been permitted by an EU standard. The two HF2 feeders shown here will be equipped with different features for direct comparison. In video presentations, the company will also present the new printing and embossing functions of the W+D 410 Easy Enveloper and the latest inkjet digital printing machine, the W+D Halm i-Jet.
“The trend towards individualization and personalization is progressing in the direct mailing sector. The possibilities of inkjet digital printing for processing variable data in short and medium runs, as offered by our W+D Halm i-Jet, for example, will definitely be an issue this year as well,” explains Frank Eichhorn, Managing Director of W+D. “We are looking forward to presenting this digital printing press to the visitors of Hunkeler Innovationdays. We will then demonstrate this latest generation printing system live at our Direct Mail Days, which will take place in Neuwied from June 5 – 6.”
