Ticor Title was recently named the lead sponsor of the Short Sale Con, an exclusive short sale convention for real estate, being held at the Golden Nugget Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 7-9, 2013. This is the first event of its kind ever held in the United States and the developers of the event want to help real estate professionals learn how to obtain new listings using some innovative, creative, and proven methods. Steve Guzman is an active California Realtor, homeowner advocate, and CDAT instructor. He not only works the short sales, helps teach other agents how to work them, but he is „in the trenches“ daily and knows how to share that information with others in the field.
We will close on Saturday with discussions of appraisals and valuation with well-known appraiser Justin Durian, who is an approved lender/appraiser, Freddie/Fannie review appraiser, and expert witness who is one of the top in his field. He has the ability to put appraisals and property valuations into „layman’s“ terms for a much easier understanding of the process and how it relates to real estate professionals and the differences and approaches of „other“ appraisals. The final guest will be CPA and attorney Paul Horn, another expert in his field, who will share information and address the issues surrounding taxes and government regulations.
