Customers and partners have something to look forward to: In time for the tekom Annual Fair 2012 in Wiesbaden, SCHEMA is presenting their „R2“ release of SCHEMA ST4 Version 2012. The focus lies on quality-enhancing extensions such as interfaces for risk analysis tools, rule-based quality assurance and automated tables, e.g. for maintenance intervals, and on the improved integration of videos.

At the tekom Annual Conference from October 23 to 25, 2012, SCHEMA GmbH will be presenting the new R2 release, which contains many new features. For the first time, an integrated interface for risk analysis tools such as „Prisma Safety Guide“ is available. Content created by these tools can be transferred to the system and then edited. As always in SCHEMA ST4, updates can be automated, since the documentation must be modified any time the risk analysis changes.
Another new feature is rule-based quality assurance, allowing for rules to check structure and content based on the ISO standard Schematron to be defined; projects in progress can then be validated against these rules or rule sets. An automated wizard makes it easy to capture the Schematron rules by helping to define the parameters.
The automated table feature, e.g. for capturing maintenance tables, is a highlight of version 2012 R2. Maintenance tables can be generated on the basis of a collection process which evaluates metadata in a project or section according to predefined query intervals. Of course, instead of maintenance tables, tables for equipment such as lubricants or similar can be created as well.
In addition, the R2 release boasts an improved video integration, an automated interface for ERP systems, a FrameMaker legacy data import, a barcode generator, and much more.
SCHEMA GmbH will present the details of the new SCHEMA ST4 Version 2012 R2 during the tekom Annual Conference in Hall 1, Booth 150 of the Rhein-Main-Hallen in Wiesbaden. Registrations for presentations and detailed discussions of version 2012 R2 in the cinema and presentation area of SCHEMA’s fair booth can be sent to claudia.arold@schema.de.
