In a continued effort to expand into the Midwest market, Michael Vance of Seahorse Pools and Construction, Inc., a family-owned business in Wichita, KS was added as a Premier Pools and Spas‘ licensee earlier this year. Most recently, Jesse Hogue of 5280 Pool and Spa LLC became the first licensee in Colorado and will be servicing the Denver area.
With a stronghold on the Texas pool building market with thriving businesses in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio totally over 31 million dollars annually, Paul Porter, licensor and CEO of Premier Pools Management Corp., recently opened up the rest of the Texas territories. With a number of builders interested, Porter chose Pedro Ibarra of Mission, TX to operate in the Rio Grande Valley and Monterrey, Mexico. Ibarra is a well known and established builder in those areas and currently has storefronts in both. „I have been looking for a way to grow my business not only in Texas, but also in Mexico. There had been a great demand for good local builders in Monterrey, Mexico and we have established ourselves and built a good reputation there,“ said Ibarra. „We also know that there is a tremendous opportunity for expansion into other parts of Mexico now that we have joined Premier Pools and Spas. Their business model has been based on strategic growth for the last 26 years.“
The selection process for new licensees consists of a comprehensive background check and several inquiries to local vendors and distributors, as well as previous customer and personal references. „We have a very strong, tight knit group of licensees who all share the same core values and work ethic,“ said Porter. „Everything is about protecting our brand and the reputation that we worked hard to build in the last 26 years. We have to make sure that everyone who comes on board mirrors our standards and has the same commitment to excellence.“
