Georgina Bloomberg appears on our cover for the third time, and I could not be more thrilled. As an involved member of our community, an author, and an equestrian activist, she embodies our Hamptons lifestyle. Grace and style are her hallmark. While always looking chic and put together, Georgina is the essence of class and beauty, and she gives back to this community and the equestrian community. She sits on the boards of many charitable organizations, as well as the Hampton Classic.
As the season comes to an end, we can’t help but start to think about the next season. Fashion is at the top of our mind in this issue, as we contemplate our next wardrobe purchases and see the trends for the crisp fall forecast. With fall come neutral colors, cashmere sweaters, riding boots, and an opportunity to bundle up a bit.
From September 8 to 15, it will be New York Fashion Week in New York City, which is the perfect time to become inspired and personalize your style. Maybe fall 2016 will be a time to take a risk and make a fashion statement out of your comfort zone. Some popular fall fashion trends include pieces in a muted orange color, reassembled denim, tied and linked pieces, and so much more!
But for now, with summer still with us, we can embrace the warm weather and sunshine while wearing our favorite sandals, lightweight dresses, and delightful varieties of color. Take advantage of all the Hamptons has to offer: Make your way to the beach, visit a farmstand, or treat yourself to a variety of delicious fine dining. It is difficult to imagine that before we know it, summer will be coming to a close!
This weekend we will celebrate the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons’ Bow Wow Meow Ball at the ARF Adoption Center in Wainscott, as well as Michael Bolton’s An Intimate Evening Under the Stars, whose proceeds will go to Michael Bolton Charities, which continues to assist children and women at risk.
