First order received for mobile crusher

The newly-developed mobile crusher from Komatsu, in Japan, is
expected to arrive in South Africa in September.

The first local order for the much-anticipated BR380JG-1, which
boasts a flywheel horsepower of 134 kW, was sold to a civils
company, in Bloemfontein, where it will be used to crush stone for
concrete mixing, and to produce road stone. Komatsu Southern Africa
processing equipment manager James Cox tells Mining Weekly that the
newly-introduced machine is unique in that the adjustment of the
crusher can be operated via a touch-screen zenith equipments cement plantmonitor. He says that
with the company’s other machines in the range, the crusher
had to be adjusted manually; however, the new machine automatically
adjusts itself literally at the touch of a button. Moreover, the
new machine is equipped with thecrushing and grinding plant price in india largest jaw crusher in its class.
The KCJ4222 improves crushing efficiency with the installation of a
load-presetting semiautomatic feeder system, and the increase in
the crusher rotation speed.

The jaw-crusher on the newequipment for clearing grantie and basalt machine is equipped with an automatic
discharge clearance adjustment system that makes it easy to change
the preset aperture of the discharge port, Cox reports.

He says that, even when one or both of the jaw plates are worn out,
the user can adjust the discharge clearance with a simple one-touch
operation, which will be complete within several minutes.
“Jaw-crushers protect themselves by bending toggle plates
conventionally when they are clogged or jammed with metal debris.
However, the KCJ4222 protects itself by adopting the lock cylinders
to fully open the discharge point, which makes it easy to remove
clogged foreign material from the crusher,” Cox
explains.

He adds that Komatsu has also increased the size of the crusher on
its new machine to 42˝*22˝, which allows for more
capacity throughput. The BR380JG-1 boasts a throughput of between
50 t/h and 240 t/h.

By changing the frame design of the BR380JG-1 machine, the company
has reduced the undercarriage size from the smaller model
BR350JG-1, which uses the PC220 to a PC200 undercarriage for the
BR380JG-1. “The newly-designed vibratory grizzly feeder moves
the material elliptically, so that the material can be effectively
separated and evenly fed into the jaw.

“Hydraulic steering and high travel speed makes the machine
easy to relocate, and gives it good mobility,” Cox
explains.

The new machine from Komatsu provides ease of operation, is built
according to CE safety specifications, and its safety aspects
comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
