CeBIT 2012: New VideoManager 6 overcomes YouTube problems with professional Video CMS

Berlin 1st March 2012 – MovingIMAGE24 (http://www.movingimage24.de) released an updated version of its professional solution for video management and video streaming in good time for CeBIT 2012 with VideoManager 6. New as well as existing customers such as DekaBank, Stiftung Warentest and BMW will certainly benefit from the countless improvements, including the new video publishing by drag-and-drop, creation and management of video adverts, optimised user administration and generally a vastly improved and more intuitive operation.

Companies, publishers and agencies obtain a platform with VideoManager (http://www.movingimage24.de/cms/en/products), which in contrast to YouTube, is targeted at professional users and their requirements. With just one click, videos of all imaginable formats, even in full HD or HDV2 (1080i), can be edited, downloaded and made available online, by mobile or via intranet. They can be selectively distributed on video and social media portals as well. With this method, the video rights remain with the author and do not need to be transferred, as is usually the case with private video portals.

Improved user management (http://www.movingimage24.de/cms/en/products/videomanager/video-streaming) has been incorporated into the VideoManager 6, which isn“t the case for example, with YouTube. Users can assign status rolls such as that of producer or editor, which are then automatically given user rights. This helps the workflow and makes administration much easier. The publishing process has also been simplified: the video can be allocated to a channel in your own media library by drag-and-drop and then it is goes immediately online. Cloud solution is implemented for the monetisation of your own videos, enabling the creation and management of video adverts. In addition the VideoManager 6 greetings page or the so-called dashboard, has been changed. It now offers breaking news, access to all video management applications as well as details about contact partners, contracts and the support team. Added icons and new design elements also help to make operation even more intuitive.

Dr Rainer Zugehör, the Managing Director of MovingIMAGE24, comments, „We have created the „best ever video cloud solution. Whether for use by companies, agencies or publishers, this highly modern and efficient Video CMS will impress anyone who is looking to publish professional videos. The employees of any organisation can intuitively take advantage of the benefits of streaming video with just a few clicks.“

As technology partner for e-Spirit, MovingIMAGE24 will be represented at the CeBIT Trade Fair in Hall 6, at booth G26 between 6th-10th March 2012. All VideoManager 6 functions can be used in the usual FirstSpirit environment. Company employees will demonstrate features and user-friendliness in the shared booth. What is more, the Managing Director of MovingIMAGE24, Dr Rainer Zugehör will be giving a speech on Wednesday 07.03 on the subject of „Video communication trends for companies. Or why YouTube no longer suffices,“ (Location: Hall 6, Booth F40, 15:30) which will identify the demands for successful video communication for today and in the future.
