Richmond, Surrey, United Kingdom – May 28, 2019 – This year’s Infosecurity Europe – the most important information security conference in Europe, held from 4-6. June 2019 in London – with more than 400 registered exhibitors, raises the bar considerably. It brings together some of the world’s most advanced, innovative companies and cybersecurity experts. Keynote speakers that have already confirmed include Jamie Bartlett, bestselling author of The People Vs Tech, The Dark Net and Radicals, and Dame Inga Beale, former CEO of Lloyd’s of London.
Jamie Bartlett, Senior Fellow, former director of the Center for the Analysis of Social Media, Demos, and Bestselling Author, will speak on the second day (Wednesday, June 5, 10: 15-11: 5) in the opening lecture on how Technology is changing society. From cybercrime and surveillance to privacy and democracy, this presentation covers many cybersecurity challenges and offers new perspectives.
The former CEO of Lloyd’s of London Lady Inga Beale will also give her talk on „View from the Board“ on June 5th (11: 25-12: 05). She outlines her perspective on how to manage complexity and risk in companies, how to change corporate culture, and why the right balance of tradition and history on the one hand, and modernity and innovation, on the other, is crucial for digital transformation. It will address the challenges of managing complex structures as well as cyber risks, as well as the communication and collaboration between the management floor and the information security department.
LaunchPad introduces new technologies and solutions
To help participants benefit as much as possible from Infosecurity Europe, the new LaunchPad has been introduced, an interactive system that provides visitors with comprehensive information on some of the exhibitor novelties. Also new this year is the FutureSec program, which aims to boost innovation in the industry. It is a platform of contributions that help companies build their employees‘ skills, give start-ups the expertise they need to grow, and help individuals plan their careers.
Those interested in learning about the latest cybersecurity technologies can visit the Cyber Innovation Showcase, which features some of the UK’s most innovative companies, as well as the dedicated Discovery Zone and Start-Up Zone areas.
A program that promotes innovation
The conference program provides visitors with important insights to help them manage their information and cyber risks, as well as assess the breadth, depth and creativity of security technologies.
