IVU AG publishes 2015 annual report

Considerable increases in revenues, gross profit and EBIT

Berlin, 18 March 2016 – IVU Traffic Technologies AG has had another successful financial year. Revenue surged by €10.9 million in 2015 to €58.1 million. Gross profit was up by 8% at €40.1 million. EBIT increased by 12% to €4.9 million.

IVU continued its growth in 2015 as well. IVU.rail performed particularly well. The integrated standard solution helps railways to optimise the use of all resources. In 2015, IVU was also awarded key orders in Canada and Sweden, and its customer base now comprises a total of nine national railway operators.

Moreover, IVU addresses the key future issue of Software as a Service with IVU.cloud. With this solution, IVU hosts all the systems for its customers. Since April 2015, the Italian national railway Trenitalia has been using IVU.cloud for all its resource planning for around 14,000 employees and more than 5,000 vehicles – an undertaking that is unique on this scale in Europe.

2016 also means 40 years of IVU. Since it was founded in 1976, it has established itself as a reliable partner and has won the trust of its customers. This is shown not least by the many follow-up orders and contract renewals, such as those agreed in 2015 with the German Federal Returning Officer and the Dutch electoral authority Kiesraad for IVU.elect.

“The figures for 2015 have clearly surpassed our expectations. The excellent results confirm our strategy and show that we are on the right track with the ongoing internationalisation and stronger focus on railways,” said Martin Müller-Elschner, CEO of IVU Traffic Technologies AG.

The full annual report with the consolidated financial statements was published in German and English on IVU’s website: http://www.ivu.com/investors/financial-reports/2015.html.
