There is No Best Diet, Says Study

Thankfully, researchers at Yale feel your pain. They recently conducted an extensive review of weight loss programs to determine if there really is a diet that improves your wellbeing better than others. Their conclusion? There isn’t one. The scientists evaluated low-carbohydrate diets, the paleo diet, vegan diets, low fat diets, low glycemic diets, vegan, mixed, and the popular Mediterranean diet. No plan emerged as a clear favorite for much better health.

They did, however, have interesting suggestions. Based around the proven fact that no eating plan become a clear winner in the „best diet“ debate, authors Katz and Meller suggest that we ignore diets that emphasize just one nutrient. Instead, they suggest a more modest and moderate approach to eating healthily. „The case that people should, indeed, eat true food, mostly plants, is all but incontrovertible,“ they write. We should stick to minimally junk foods, mostly plants and eat meat and dairy products which come from plant-fed animals, they say. More info: lida diet pills
