Enschede, Netherlands, February 11, 2014 – Telvent Global Services formalizes the alliance after they gained the SilentDefense Solutions certification, which allows them to provide licenses as well as integration and maintenance services to clients.
SilentDefense ICS is an innovative solution specifically designed to monitor Industrial Control systems. It provides a clear and detailed picture of the network traffic while offering unprecedented protection by detecting errors and anomalies in the messages sent through the network.
SilentDefense is enabled by a new technology, different from all present solutions. Rather than relying on signature-based blacklisting, SilentDefense ICS employs self-configuring network whitelisting based on the innovative Deep Protocol Behaviors Inspection (DPBI) technology.
DBPI enables the most accurate analysis and understanding of network traffic. Thanks to DPBI, SilentDefense instantly detects and reports any threat to control systems. SilentDefense requires no changes to existing hardware and software architecture and has no negative effect on the network device performance and availability. SilentDefense ICS easily interfaces with the current information security system and event managers.
This new agreement follows Telvent Global Services strategy of strengthening and expanding its Partners program. It also underscores their focus on using technology as a resource, fostering collaboration with technology leaders and a continued effort to forge alliances that improve services.
