Aaron Paul and Lauren Parsekian pulled out all the stops for their Memorial Day weekend wedding! The pair, who tied the knot on Sunday, May 26, at the Cottage Pavilion at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, Calif., even had soulful crooner John Mayer sing at their nuptials.
According to eyewitnesses at the star-studded event, Mayer played „Daughters“ as Parsekian, the co-CEO of Finding Kind Productions, danced with her father.
„Aaron came out back after John sang and caught him before he left to shake his hand and say, ‚Hey, thanks for doing that man, that was great,'“ an onlooker told Us Weekly. Mayer didn’t stay long after his set. Foster The People also performed at the fun-filled celebration.
The evening wedding reception featured a small ferris wheel, a swing ride and a photo booth for the 1920s carnival-themed celebration. A source tells Us that there were men and women on stilts, burlesque dancers and even David Blaine doing magic tricks for guests in a red-and-white striped tent to round out the 1920s Parisan masquerade theme.
„Wedding time,“ she tweeted earlier in the day, sharing a photo of herself in a white robe getting her hair styled. „Did my own make up! And hair by this babe Michael Kanyon Habib.“
„Lauren looked stunning,“ a source told Us. „Aaron was in awe of her.“
„I’m going to try not to be a sobbing mess up there,“ Paul had told Us in July 2012 about his excitement to tie the knot.
Her bridesmaids donned cream-colored dresses and long gloves and posed with parasols for the wedding photos after the ceremony.
The groom was no slouch either. The Breaking Bad actor, 33, wore a dark blue tuxedo with black lapels and a bow tie to match. His groomsmen donned top hats for the occasion in keeping with the 1920s theme.
