Hagen, 23/04/2013. EUROPART is continuing to expand its sites and opened a new branch in Bosnia (Bijeljina) at the beginning of April 2013. Since February this year, EUROPART has already opened two more branches in Lithuania (Klaipeda) and Hungary (Györ). The leading European dealer of commercial vehicle parts and workshop supplies has thus taken another step towards consolidating its network in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. The expansion of the network in the region is a visible sign of the regained dynamism at EUROPART and so several offices have already been opened since October 2012, in particular in light of the new German and European Key Account Strategy. All three countries offer EUROPART crucial development potential, and in Hungary and Bosnia the company is already a market leader.
The CEO of the EUROPART Group, Pierre Fleck, considers the new sites to be a powerful signal in the local market: „After acquiring the Polish national subsidiary in January 2013, we still cannot be satisfied with what we have achieved. We can see excellent opportunities particularly in Eastern Europe because its markets are not yet saturated. This is why we want to continue growing here, organically and through acquisition.“
On course for growth in Hungary
The Hungarian national subsidiary is represented at eleven other sites alongside the Budapest headquarters and Györ. The new site in Györ is known as the centre of the Hungarian automotive supply industry and is therefore strategically very important for EUROPART Hungary. As emphasised by the Hungarian country manager, Robert Fitos, „With Györ we“re sending another clear signal to our competitors that we consider our position on the market to be secure.“
Bijeljina – New EUROPART site in Bosnia
The Country Manager for Bosnia and Serbia, Dejan Petrovski, seems also very pleased with the opening of the fourth EUROPART branch in Bosnia. Bijeljina is located at the point where Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia meet, which means that the logistics processes between Serbia and Bosnia are optimised and the transport routes to the respective customers are significantly reduced. Until now, EUROPART was represented in Sarajevo and Doboj and had its national headquarters in Banja Luka.
EUROPART will continue to expand its site network in the coming months. The European presence and expansion of its network will also be a topic at the EUROPART Supplier Day on 24/04/2013 in Hagen, to which more than 100 suppliers from all over the world have been invited.
EUROPART is the leading dealer in spare parts and accessories for commercial vehicles, buses and special vehicles in Europe. Moreover, EUROPART provides a wide range of products of workshop equipment for its main client groups such as workshop clients, shipping and fleet companies including all fields of chemical equipment, workshop equipment and facilities, fastening equipment, job safety facilities for the everyday business operation.
Since 2011 EUROPART is owned by Triton and Paragon. Triton is specialized on investments of leading medium sized companies in German speaking countries and Northern Europe.
In 2011, the EUROPART Group’s annual sales totalled around EUR 420 million.
